Just a quick note to show you the two cards made for the mini VSN. Absolutely loved doing the second one, has all the techniques I love just no heat embossing.
These cards were for the mini which means in a months time we will be doing the main challenge with twelve cards to make over the two days.
Great fun and lots of chatter as we make our cards and up load them.
If you  are new to this form of crafting there are plenty of people to help.
Pop over to my Split Coast Stampers site for more details on the cards HERE

This is the last in the baby cards for work and this time it was for a first time father to welcome little Skyla into the world.
This card is also using the Technique Challenge of two weeks ago that Sabrina posted over at Split Coast Stampers ans well as the Sketch Challenge of the same week. Pop over and have a look. SC525 and TLC518

Ubon's Baby Card

This card is the second baby card for a staff member this time a new mum with another gorgeous baby girl.
Got this idea from a card I have pinned to my baby card board on Pinterest.
I used Spellbinder dies to create this card.
You need to fold your card and then place your chosen die slightly above the fold line so that it will have a hinge to open and close the card.
I used the circle die to cut out the neck piece of the bib and the rest they say is history.
I think I will use my egg die next time because I think it will give a better bib shape.
I used SU Mini  Glue Dots to attach the ribbon bow and button and the pram came out of a card making kit I bought a long time ago for next to nothing.
I haven't actually make any cards from the kits just pinched the elements out of them for other cards I make.

Above is a card made for one of my staff to congratulate her on the safe arrival of Amelia her fifth child and a gorgeous little girl.
It is a simple card with the sketch cased from the Stamp-in Up occasions catalogue for 2015 on page 23.
I used a Martha Stewart boarder punch instead of stamping flowers and then cutting them out.
I also double stamped the greeting using SU Blushing Bride and then over stamped this with Versa Mark watermark and covering with clear heat embossing powder to give the greeting some texture and shine.
To make sure I got the positioning right I used the SU Stamp-a-ma- jig. Can't really live without this handy little tool.
The photo above shows everything I used.
