I think Snowy the snow man came in as the fourth card we did but I'm not sure anyway here he is and for this challenge we had to use flower soft so it's on his hat and he is standing in it! More info in my SCS gallery link below:

This is a birthday card for my best friend who just happens to like purple. The card was inspired from two cards that were made on different days for the Magnolia Blog, Advent Calendar, with each card representing a day or shutter. The colour scheme is from one card and the sketch layout is loosly based on another. There were some truly beautiful cards and was well worth following.
There is a close up image of the card in my SCS gallery link below. Thanks for stopping by to look. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1875942?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 WHAT HAVE I USED I stamped the Magnolia image onto SU Whisper White card stock. I coloured the image and then using a Tim Holts blending applicator and sponge I applied SU Lavender Lace ink around the edge of the image. I then layered the image and made mats of the DP card to complete the layout. CARD: SU Whisper White and Lavender Lace. DP Kasercraft Devonshire Collection, Magnolia and Gwinevere. DP BoBunny Peacock Lane Love Birds (the centre of) INKS: Momento Tuxedo Black, SU Lavender Lace. STAMPS: Magnolia Tilder Unrapping Present. Just Rite Greeting COPIC MARKERS: Skin; R0000, R00, R11 Hair; E00, E21, E33, E37 Dress; V000, V12, V15, V17 Socks and rapping paper; YG0000, YG03, YG06, YG17 Box; E00, E21, E33 Purple spika pen to highlight the hair ribbon and the dress lace. EMBELLISHMENTS: Kaisercraft grass green rhinestones. Purple ribbon (my Christmas present was rapped in it) Lace. ACCESSORIES: Clear embossing powder for heat embossing over the Just Rite greeting using the stamp possitioning method (works a treat with the SU Stamp-a-ma-jig) Spellbinders Nestabilities large and small circle dies. Woo Hoo, look what came in the post last week. The stamps from the Magnolia Summer Stamp Club collection. It's so excitting, you never know what you are going to get but I have never been disapointed.
I can hardly wait to let my copics loose on them. I already have plans for the georges mermaid tilder. |
