This card is for the Split Coast Stampers (SCS) sketch challenge for this week and I have also used the colour challenge colours again for this week. I've used the Belleek Technique again and this time I have included the inside of the card. It is yet another baby card for a staff member and yet another gorgeous little girl. Missing from eh equipment photo is the SU Stamp-a-ma-jig used to over stamp the greeting and the clear embossing powder for the same greeting. \more details for the card are on SCS although something went wrong with that up load and details haven't come across. I'm giving it till tomorrow to rectify it'self and then will go in and re do it if necessary. Here's the link. Thanks for looking, hope your inspired. Cheers Marg Good morning everyone the card today is for both the Mojo Monday sketch challenge and also the Split Coast Stampers Colour Challenge I was desperate to do the sketch challenge but hung off until I saw what the colour challenge was and I wasn't disappointed. This card took a little longer than normal (three hours) because I decided to layer some of the flowers (tole work) which meant three lots of colouring. I also decided to use the Belleek technique to do the background, there are a couple of links on my Split Coast Stamper site here. Everything else is pretty straight forward with a little sponging around the image to give some shading and taking some of the stark white away. I've mounted the wood panel with SU dimensionals and I have used 3D craft foam pads from Birch to attache the flower petals I cut out the circle and stamped then over stamped with clear embossing powder the greeting before I Belleek embossed the front panned. I learnt the hard way that you need to do everything else to a panel before you do your dry embossing or you will loose definition. Finally I did a little bit of Belleek embossing on teh bottom of the insert paper, just because I could lol. |
