This the second of two cards I made for the SCS sketch challenge I got a little carried away. I've used my much loved copic markers and then gone around the image with SU going grey and a Tim Holtz applicator and sponge. Worked really well. I was trying to give the impression of the side of a ship. The first set of waves are stuck straight onto the cuttlebuged Bashful Blue card then the image is stuck to that. The second and third set of waves are first stuck together slightly offsetting them then they are mounted over the top of the first set of waves and the image with SU Dimensionals. A fairly quick card to do and a lot of fun. Enjoy your play, Marg

Just had to post these. Most of it was done on Saturday with Scrapbook City.

The first canvas is Tim Holtz inspired and the second canvas is Jennifer McGuire inspired.

The day was fantastic and as usual Kerri, Leisa and the girls at Scrapbook City did us proud.

Katy did the teaching and was great.

All in all a wonderful way to spend a Saturday.

This is my very first blog so please excuse any mistakes or weired stuff I will get better as I go along. My biggest worry at this point is that this blogging thing is going to become as addictive as my card making.
The card I have chosen to upload first is probably one of my favorit colour combos at the moment (they change) and is Taken with Teal and Close to Cocoa all from Stampin Up. I also used Stampin Up ink pads and markers to stamp the background layers, again Close to Cocoa and Taken with Teal. I also used a little of the Elegant Eggplant for the eye of the feather. All of the stamping was done on Whisper White again from Stampin Up. I really like this card stoke it is so good to work with.
The stamp set is out of the Stampin Up Summer Mini Catalogue. Sorry not available at the moment but it might be in their new Ideas Book  who knows.
Now here comes the exciting bit, the nest and eggs were coloured with Copic, "O" Copic I looove you, yes well you will hear a lot more about copic from me as time goes on and I get better at it. The greating was stamped in Taken with Teal and then over stamped with versamark and clear embossing powder added and heat embossed the greating is one of the free stamps from the Wimsical Words Set  of Stampin Up's Sale-a-bration sets.
Hope you have enjoyed the read Marg
