Digi stamp from the wonderful Mo Manning.
My daughter has just finished her nursing degree and a friend who had a cleaning business cleaning end of tenancies in the holiday belt of Northern New South Wales employed her so that she could get through her degree. My daughter is/was a mature age student at 31 and was determined to do it with as little help from us as possible. Joy her boss was absolutly amazing giving her help and support through out. So my daughter wanted to give her a speacial card, but also wanted it to be well and truly over the top as Joy is vey fit and her prefered colour to wear is black, not much into frills and pink. So this card as well as convaying her thanks is also ment to be funny. Hope she likes it. Copic Markers: Skin= E0000, E00, E11, R0 Hair = BV 31, BV11, BV13 Dress= RV00, RV02, RV04 Duster/Shoes= YG21, YG23, YG25 Apron= C00, C01, C03 Spica pens clear & pink were used on the pettycoat frills adn also the wings unfortunatly it doesn't show up but looks great in real life This card is for the current Copic OZ challenge (I've just got to have the new 2012 colours, I can't possibly live without them) the card is also on my Split Coast Stampers gallery, go take a peek
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2132582?&limit=last1#comments The card is basic peacing with Magnolia Doo Hicky Leaves and hearts (very cute) The card stock is all Stampin Up and the DP is SU Tall Tails. I got the stamp from Unity Stamps a couple of weeks ago and have been dieing to use it ever since. It's called Happiness Is... The copic colours I have used for my little girl on a swing are: Skin = R20, E0000, E00, E11. Hair = Y00, Y21, y17. Pants = R43, R46, R59. Shoes / Swing = YR20, YR21, YR24. Shirt = YG11, YG17, YG23, I flooded the areas I was working on with my "0" blender pen first then started to apply the colour. I also used lemon Spica pen on her hair, mint Spica pen on her shirt and pink Spica pen on the action lines under the swing. The clouds are Spellbinders Nestabilitys Lables 6 stamped with Versa Mark water mark stamp pad and then covered in fine glitter. Thanks for looking, feel free to CASE Cheers Marg Hi every one, here is Marci from La-La-Land looking O so pretty.
This card is my Copic OZ challenge using the colours G82, BV00 and RV21, of cause they aren't the only colours I have used. I cased the card from the current Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft mag page 47 Parisian Peach by Linda Langes, well there's a vague resemblence anyway, thanks Linda for being my muse. I coloured the ribbon from white saturn to green with G82 and the little gem on her hat in the middle of the flower was clear but I coloured it with BV17 to get the same colour as the hat band. Don't you just love copic, so versatile you can put it anywhere. I love marsking and there is a lot in this. Marci herself is actually a digi stamp that has been masked, print her our once on your blending paper then again on some cheep normal printing paper the thinner the better. Once marsked stamp amour next to her from SU's Artistic Etchings, marsk this then stamp the Eiffel Tower from the same set over the top of Marci and amour, marsk the tower and still with the marsking on all the other pieces stamp Darkroom Doors postcard stamp over the top. I also added the Darkroom Door saying "Post Card" stamp to the end just to give it a bit of width and because I like the stamp. I distress inked with SU Early Expresso and Tim Holts applicator and spong (another favourit) Copic Markers used are; Hat and shoes;YG0000, YG11, G82, G94 Band of hat dress cuffs and hem; BV0000, BV00, BV02 Dress and flower;RV10, RV14, RV21 Skin; E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for the cheeks Hair; E33, E35, E37 Hope you enjoyed this read You can find a clearer photo of the card on Split Coast Stampers follow the blog below http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1991767?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 Cheers Marg A Mothers Day card for my 92 year old mum inlaw, hope she likes it. I have made this card for the CDAC challenge but I think I'm too late never mind I'll stick it in my CDAC gallery anyway. I'm also entering it into the Copic OZ challenge Easter as well as a couple of the SCS challenges. What I have used is on my SCS blog link at the end of this post except the Copic Markers They are; Bunny Y35, Y32, E50 + RV02, RV91 for ears, nose and tulips. Ribbon and grass YG23, YG06, YG00 I used the same colours for the three little egg brads and piled a whole lot of Crystal Effects ontop. The photo is a bit yellow because my flash wouldn't work because of the glare. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1958226?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 Hi everyone this is a card made with the Copic frog, isn't he cute! I'm going to submit him for the "It's Summertime" challenge even though I have already put one in. You can get the frog from the Copic Facebook site and I really want to upload him to Facebook but have no idea how??
The frog caught my eye first then while I was out shopping last week (we could still shop last week, this week a lot of the shops and homes are under water) the DP caught my eye at something silly like 30 cents a sheet and the rest is history so they say. WHAT HAVE I USED I have used Split Coast Stampers SC313 challenge as the layout. I embosed the solid colour with a Cuttlebug folder the one with the grass / reeds and bird. I butted this up against the DP card and mounted both onto some silver card. I downloaded the frog image (in black outline) then using a text box and a 2 peas font added "Lazy Days Of Summer" in orange. I then printed the image and saying onto card stock. Once the frog was coloured I cut out around some of the frog and then went round the cutout edges with my black 100 copic. I layered this onto some green card that I had punched a boarder onto. I then threaded some ribbon from the $2.00 shop through the top holes of the boarder and added rhinestones, mounted this to the existing card, went over the words with orange Spica pen and vola here it is. CARD: SU Daffadil Delight, Wild Wasabi, DP $2.00 store paper. INK: Wild Wasabi (around edge of saying) STAMPS: Digi art from Copic Facebook, computer generated words using 2 Peas font. COPIC MARKERS: Frog Body; YG00, YG03, YG17, YG67 Inside Mouth; E02, E04, YG17, YG67 Tongue; E02, E04 Eyes; C00, B0000, B00 |
