Digi stamp from the wonderful Mo Manning.
My daughter has just finished her nursing degree and a friend who had a cleaning business cleaning end of tenancies in the holiday belt of Northern New South Wales employed her so that she could get through her degree. My daughter is/was a mature age student at 31 and was determined to do it with as little help from us as possible. Joy her boss was absolutly amazing giving her help and support through out. So my daughter wanted to give her a speacial card, but also wanted it to be well and truly over the top as Joy is vey fit and her prefered colour to wear is black, not much into frills and pink. So this card as well as convaying her thanks is also ment to be funny. Hope she likes it. Copic Markers: Skin= E0000, E00, E11, R0 Hair = BV 31, BV11, BV13 Dress= RV00, RV02, RV04 Duster/Shoes= YG21, YG23, YG25 Apron= C00, C01, C03 Spica pens clear & pink were used on the pettycoat frills adn also the wings unfortunatly it doesn't show up but looks great in real life Easter wishes or thats what this cute little bunny from Bugaboo Digi Stamps sais.
I have made this card for the CDAC challenge but I think I'm too late never mind I'll stick it in my CDAC gallery anyway. I'm also entering it into the Copic OZ challenge Easter as well as a couple of the SCS challenges. What I have used is on my SCS blog link at the end of this post except the Copic Markers They are; Bunny Y35, Y32, E50 + RV02, RV91 for ears, nose and tulips. Ribbon and grass YG23, YG06, YG00 I used the same colours for the three little egg brads and piled a whole lot of Crystal Effects ontop. The photo is a bit yellow because my flash wouldn't work because of the glare. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1958226?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 Hi everyone this is my submition for the Copic OZ challenge. I almost ran out of time but I'm really happy with the result, still room for improvement of course, the photo dosen't really do it justice.
What have I used The image is a Shirley Wilson image that I sourced from one of her books for folk art. Shirley does some wonderful art work. I had to resize the art work so that I could use it on a card but that was all, so I guess it is the same as digi stamps. Card:SU Whisper White, Crushed Concord, Pumpkin Pie, and Elegant Eggplant Ink: SU Crushed Concord, Elegant Eggplant Stamps: As mentioned above a Shirley Wilson image sourced from her book"PS I Love You" book one by Jean Myers and Shirley Wilson circa 1994 Copic Markers: Just a quick note to tell you how I arrive at my colour combinations. First I print or stamp the image on an A4 sheet of either SU Whisper White or Express It paper and heat set the image if I have printed it. I then grab my Copic colour chart and look to see what colours I need to blend well. I do swatches down the side of the A4 paper and when I have a combination I'm happy with I write the numbers of the markers over the top. It took two goes for the pumpkins and three swatches for the leaves. Pumpkins;Y21, Y38, YR07, YR04 + E57 for twig arms Leaves; G85, YG11, YG63, YG91, E05. E95 Hat; C01, C05, C07, C09 + E04 to add a little colour to the hat band. Embelishments: Kaiser rhinestones orange and black, black and white gingham ribbon (from Crazy Clarks) Accessories: Cuttlebug embossing folder pumpkins, Spellbinders Boardabuilities die. Hope this has inspired you to grab your Copic Markers and have a go. You can get a better view of the card on my SCS gallery, link below. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1825893?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 Hi everyone, this is the card I have created for the embellishment challenge over at Crafters Digital Art Centre. Lots of glitter and the little heart in the centre is three "D" and I have writen "love U" in the middle of it. This is a small card measuring 10.5 x 10.5 cm. I reduced the digi image ansd pieced the image first to get the size right.
