To day I'm going to upload a card that is from a challenge that I combined with the SCS colour challenge, not one of my best cards but i really want to get back into blogging again. I have done a card for the Mojo Monday challenge using the colours from the SCS colour challenge Below is the Mojo Monday sketch. This is the card I created. It is for my husbands valentine card so I wanted to keep it masculine. All the details are over at my SCS site found HERE Thanks for looking cheers Marg

I got the stamp from Unity Stamps a couple of weeks ago and have been dieing to use it ever since. It's called Happiness Is... The copic colours I have used for my little girl on a swing are: Skin = R20, E0000, E00, E11. Hair = Y00, Y21, y17. Pants = R43, R46, R59. Shoes / Swing = YR20, YR21, YR24. Shirt = YG11, YG17, YG23, I flooded the areas I was working on with my "0" blender pen first then started to apply the colour. I also used lemon Spica pen on her hair, mint Spica pen on her shirt and pink Spica pen on the action lines under the swing. The clouds are Spellbinders Nestabilitys Lables 6 stamped with Versa Mark water mark stamp pad and then covered in fine glitter. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2105234?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 Hi everyone well it's late and I really should be gong to bed but wanted to upload this first.
Had fun doing this but am still not sure if I like it or not. Do you have that problem? All in all there are four challenges represented in this card CC321~ Colour Challenge, TLC297 ~ Embedded Image, TLC320 ~ Punched Circle Edge, and TLC324 ~ Colored Embossing. Of all of these challenges I found the last one coloured embossing the hardest having six goes before I was halfway happy with what I got. The problem was that the colour kept beading on the plastic embossing mat. I love the embedded image effect and of course punch circle edge is one of my favorits. This card was CASED from markie's mom aka Faith, a direct link to her card below and also a link to her blog, well worth a look. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1949094 http://stampinwithmarkiesmom.blogspot.com/ You can find all these challenges at Splitcoast Stampers link below. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ Hope you enjoyed your visit. Cheers Marg Hi everyone these five cards are the cards I created for the virtual stamp night mini with Split Coast Stampers. I had never entered one before and boy was I nervous but it was great and it really puts you on a high I didn't calm down for days.
If you want to see the cards in more detail follow the links below to see the individual cards. I ended up with 48 copic markers scattered across my desk and paper and stuff everywhere by the time I finished but it was worth every minute. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1964088?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1964149?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1964201?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1964284?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1964310?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 A Mothers Day card for my 92 year old mum inlaw, hope she likes it. I have made this card for the CDAC challenge but I think I'm too late never mind I'll stick it in my CDAC gallery anyway. I'm also entering it into the Copic OZ challenge Easter as well as a couple of the SCS challenges. What I have used is on my SCS blog link at the end of this post except the Copic Markers They are; Bunny Y35, Y32, E50 + RV02, RV91 for ears, nose and tulips. Ribbon and grass YG23, YG06, YG00 I used the same colours for the three little egg brads and piled a whole lot of Crystal Effects ontop. The photo is a bit yellow because my flash wouldn't work because of the glare. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1958226?&cat=500&ppuser=198941 |
