Below is my card for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge for this fortnight which was a colour challenge to use brown blue and white.
I love colour challenges so this was a joy to do.
I always love and admire the gorgeous Magnolia cards with all the bling and glitz and layers but never seem to achieve it myself. I did think of putting some rose ribbon down the side and maybe a doily die behind Tilda but my inner plain Jane won out and here is my no nonsense thinking of you card (that's the greeting inside)
I have also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge. When I saw this challenge I thought I would never be able to come up with anything decent but I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.
The card is a small one measuring 9.5 x 11.5 cm as the base.
I have used SU card stock Soft Suede (brown) Tempting Turquoise (blue) and X-Press It blending paper for the white and SU DP Fall Flowers.
I have coloured Tilda with Copic Markers and used the turquoise Spica pen for the ribbon in her hair and the lace on her sleeve.
I use the Spellbinder circle dies to cut out the image I use my new SU banner punch and stamp set for the little banners.
