SCS Challenges SC579 & CC569. #thedailymarker30day challenge

This is the third card for last weeks color challenge over at SCS found HERE and is also for the sketch challenge for the same period found HERE
Love this sketch and at first tried to use the "Out of the Box" technique but got myself into such a mess that in the end I admitted defeat and cut a circle and glued it over the base with "Tombo" multi glue.
I have used copic markers for the colouring including to colour the little hearts which were a clearish apricot colour.

For the insert I have kept the theme using a strip of the border punch across the join in the card.

I will have to admit I really like doing this type of inside to my cards mainly because commercially produced cards are not finished like this.
It is also why I like using ribbon although not on this card.

I had not intended to have quite so many little hearts on the front of the card but ended up with a very small smudge that I couldn't ignore and once one more went on I then had to balance the card.

Other accessories: Clear embossing powder,  double sided tape, Tombo Mono Multi liquid glue, EK border punch "Moroccan Border", Spellbinder Nestabuilitys Circles small and large. Cloud9 Heart Rain Dots by Fiskars.
